Symptoms worth documenting
- Clicking, slow cranking, or no sound at all.
- Dim lights or electrical accessories behaving differently.
- The vehicle starts after a jump but later loses power again.
- A battery or charging warning light on the dashboard.
What to share with the mechanic
Include the vehicle details, what happened immediately before the no-start, any jump-start attempt, warning lights, and the exact location. If the vehicle is in traffic or presents a hazard, move to safety and contact roadside or emergency services as appropriate.
